Campaign overview: two products, three countries, one deadline

In February 2025, Testuj.to by FRENX executed six concurrent testing campaigns for Bloom Robbins: hair growth and renewal shampoo and hair and scalp serum, each launched separately for the Czech, Slovak, and Hungarian markets.
Each campaign offered around fifty spots, totaling 298. A total of 7,971 people completed the questionnaire — the highest absolute number among all campaigns in this set of case studies.
The challenge: three markets at once means three communities, three languages, and three sets of destinations
Launching a product simultaneously in Czechia, Slovakia, and Hungary looks like a single campaign on paper. In practice, it involves three recruitment drives, three language versions of questionnaires and reviews, and three different sets of review destinations.
Furthermore, interest varied fourfold across markets — in Czechia, 2,364 people filled out the questionnaire for the shampoo, compared to 730 in Hungary. Yet a smaller market needs the same number of reviews to make the product page look credible.
The third complication was the nature of the product. Promoting hair growth is difficult to evaluate in just a few weeks, and testers mentioned this in their reviews — including those who saw no change.

The solution: equal capacity in every market, regardless of demand size
We set the capacity equally at roughly fifty spots across all three markets, even though demand was incomparable. As a result, the Hungarian product page received practically the same number of reviews as the Czech one, even though only a third as many people applied in Hungary.
The testing period was set to one month so that testers could assess changes that aren't noticeable after just one week. Every approved review was published on Testuj.to, on the client's e-shop, and a large portion on the Heureka Group network.
Results in numbers: 281 out of 298 selected testers submitted a review
Two products across three markets in six campaigns. 7,971 completed questionnaires (meaning 27 applicants per spot), 298 selected testers, and 281 reviews from 281 unique testers — a 94% submission rate.
A total of 843 published reviews: 420 for shampoo and 423 for serum across Testuj.to, the Heureka Group network, and the client's e-shops. Average rating of 4.5 out of 5, recommended by 93% of testers, with 448 user photos added. The client holds licenses for all platform reviews and can use them in their marketing activities.

What testers appreciated: scent, packaging, and post-wash feel
In the Czech market (100 reviews), scent was the most frequently mentioned positive feature — cited in 62 reviews. This was followed by packaging and design (43), hair care and lathering (28), sulfate- and silicone-free formula (21), easy application (20), and a specific visible effect: reduced hair loss, density, shine (18).
Feature ratings on a 5-point scale: design 4.79 in Czechia and 4.74 in Slovakia; post-application feel 4.64 in Hungary and 4.61 in Czechia; efficacy 4.51 in Hungary and 4.38 in Czechia and Slovakia. The highest-rated product was the scalp serum in the Slovak market (4.73 out of 5), while the lowest was the shampoo in the Czech market (4.37).

What bothered testers: divisive scent, price, and oilier hair
The scent is the most interesting finding in this data. On one hand, 62 out of 100 Czech reviews highlighted it as a positive; on the other, 12 reviews noted it as a drawback ('strong scent, bordering on chemical') — and the measured scent attribute in the Czech market scored 4.07 out of 5, by far the lowest of all measured attributes. In the Slovak market, the same attribute scored 4.48. This is not a contradiction: the fragrance is distinct, and opinions among testers were divided.
The most common single complaint was price (15 out of 100 Czech reviews). Twelve reviews noted that their hair became oily faster after using the shampoo, and twelve criticized the package size — specifically for the serum, stating that it only lasts a month.
Twenty-five reviews out of 281 (9%) ended up with a rating of 6 out of 10 or lower, and nineteen testers would not recommend the product. For a hair growth product, this is expected — some testers noticed no change after a month and stated so. Conversely, 38 out of 100 Czech reviews contained no complaints whatsoever.

Where the reviews landed
The hair growth and renewal shampoo gained 420 published reviews, and the hair and scalp serum received 423 — totaling 843. Reviews were published on Testuj.to, the Heureka Group network, and the client's e-shops across all three markets.
Methodological note: Data originates from the administrative database of Testuj.to by FRENX, calculated as of August 22, 2026. 'Review' refers to an approved review; ratings on a 1–10 scale are converted to a 5-point scale. Pros and cons themes are coded using keywords from one hundred reviews in the Czech market, as Slovak and Hungarian responses are in different languages; a single review may fall into multiple categories.
